# Racial Traits

### Flying

<mark style="color:blue;">**Lánaraï Only**</mark>

**Soar:** The player can move to a location 1 hex away for 1 Action Point. In this way, they can move between multiple hexes in a single turn. Roll a dice before moving. On the roll of 1, the player receives the *Grounded* keyword after the move is complete. Soar may not be used to move into a hex that is affected by The Void.

**Aerobatics:** The player receives a +1 modifier to save rolls.

**Air Strike:** When the player rolls for initiative, treat a roll of 2+ as a 10.

### Ancient Lore

If the player attempts to use an ability, add 2 to the roll.

### Void Form

<mark style="color:purple;">**Kheïtanni only**</mark>

**Void Leap:** The player can instantly move to location 2 hexes away for 2 Action Points. Roll a dice before moving. On the roll of 1, the player receives the *Voidsick* keyword after the move is complete. If Void Leap is used to move into a hex that is affected by The Void, the player receives the Voidsick keyword on the roll of a 1 or 2.

**Insubstantial:** When the player receives damage, reduce the damage by 1 down to a minimum of 1.

**Voidborne Raiders:** When the player rolls for initiative, treat a roll of 2+ as a 10.

### Soulburn

<mark style="color:purple;">**Kheïtanni only**</mark>

If the player attempts to use an ability, don’t make a normal roll. Instead the player loses 1 HP and rolls a dice. On a 2+ the ability succeeds.

## Grounded

<mark style="color:blue;">**Lánaraï Only**</mark>

A player may not Fly if they have the *Grounded* keyword.

### Voidsick

<mark style="color:purple;">**Kheïtanni only**</mark>

A player may not enter Void Form if they have the *Voidsick* keyword.
