Crafting

Reagents, Products & Formulas

Crafting allows you to create new items by using other items as ingredients (known as Reagents). You have 3 slots in which you can place selected items from your inventory to use as reagents. If the combination of reagents you selected matches a Formula for creating create a new item, you will be able to craft that item (known as a Product).

You can put reagents in the slots in any order, and if 2 or more of a reagent type is needed, the right number will be automatically added.

Crafting an item takes 1 Action Point and may only be done in the Player Turn Phase.

Crafting may not be performed if your character is Knocked Down, has the Frozen keyword, or if you have incomplete assignments.

Kept Reagents

Normally, reagents that are used to craft a new item are consumed in the process. Some formulas call for certain tools to be used – such as a wand used to Enchant an item. In these instances, the tools used are not consumed and will remain in your inventory after crating the item is complete.

Augments

Many crafting formulas simply use reagents to create a new item. Other formulas are Augmentations – these include one particular reagent which is not consumed, but will be augmented with improved statistics or other added bonuses conferred by the other reagents required. For example, an arrow could be improved to be more accurate or deadly.

Restricted Formulas

Some formulas can be used by any player. Others may require the player to be of a certain race, at a minimum player level, or may have a prerequisite crafting ability such as Forging, Enchanting and Cultivation.
