Lánaraï Paths

The Gathering Maw

Heavy Combat Specialist

The Path of the Gathering Maw honours Rhïarrh in His aspect of Rhïnë, the great and terrible Leviathan who drifts inexorably through the depths of the Void devouring entire worlds. Wielding mighty two-handed weapons with deadly ferocity, followers of this Path dismantle and dismember whatever stands in their way. Relentless and unstoppable, they weave sweeping arcs of death all about them, devastating whole ranks of enemy troops with every pulverising blow.

The Shining Mane

Fast Combat Specialist

The Path of the Shining Mane honours Rhïarrh in His Aspect of Rhïekh, the lion whose mighty roar shakes the heavens. Those who take the Path of the Shining Mane learn to focus their strength into explosive bursts of preternatural speed and precision, raining down on their enemies with an unstoppable frenzy of blows that leave them utterly shaken. When only brute force will do, an earth-shattering roar resounds across the battlefield as they unleash their furious killing blow.

The Triumphant Wings

Ranged Combat Specialist

The Path of the Triumphant Wings honours Rhïarrh in His Aspect of Rhïas, the mighty eagle whose wings carry the sun. Followers of this Path develop their visual senses and like the eagle, can discern the tiniest detail or flicker of movement from a vast distance, launching their arrows as straight and true as a speeding shaft of golden light. Some are so acutely attuned to Rhïas that they are able to take the form of his avatar, a great eagle, to survey the battlefield and pick out their prey before launching the perfect attack.

The Undying Flame

Spellcaster Specialist

The Path of the Undying Flame honours Rhïarrh in His Aspect of Rhïa, the dragon whose fiery breath lights the sun. Those who follow this Path are masters of the arcane science of the Aëdr. They watch the enemies of the Fire in Heaven as patiently as they observe the motions of the stars across the firmament. Then, striking from on high with the will of a God made manifest, they immolate their foes with pillars of flame and impale them upon lances of searing starfire.
